Torque & angle
Torque-controlled tightening uses torque as the controlling shut-off quantity. Torque/angle tightening adds a defined angular stage or monitoring after a specified initial stage. The joint instruction determines the strategy.
Selection note
Angle does not directly measure preload. Settlement, elasticity, joint length and the measurement reference affect interpretation. Drive rotation must not be treated as exact fastener rotation without validation.
Application & selection
Define initial torque, angle start, limits, direction, repeat tightening and result evaluation. Validate the actual tool, accessory combination and assembly process.
Discuss your application
The future Volta functions are explicitly a WSD announcement. Models, sensing, tolerances, software and dates are not confirmed. Existing VT/VTR tools are not advertised as already providing these functions.
